OCTOBER - Things to do in London

Winter is coming and the warm weather is quickly disappearing, but don’t let it get you down! There are plenty of events taking place in London throughout October to keep you going. We have put together a list of the most popular activities below:

  • BT World Wheelchair Rugby – Ends 16th October

The BT World Cup Wheelchair Rugby Challenge is held in London at the Copper Box Arena. Tickets start from £17.60 please click here to find available tickets. 

  • Frieze Art Fair – Ends 17th October

The Frieze Art Fair is an annual event that takes place in the Royal Park. Over 160 established and emerging international art dealers and galleries will be displaying their finest work. To find out more click here.

  • Merge Bankside – Ends 18th October 

The Merge Bankside has been taking place on the south side of the river for the last 5 years and celebrates art, music and performance. Most of the events are FREE to attend! To download the what’s on guide please click here

  • NFL Regent Street – 24th October

The evening prior to the Bills VS Jaguar game will see the NFL parade Piccadilly and Oxford Circus. This event has seen crowds of up to 600,000 in previous years so it will be an exciting atmosphere with games, displays, music and plenty of live performances.   • NFL Bills VS Jaguars – 25th October

The NFL International Series is holding three games at London Wembley Stadium. If you want a ticket to the game please click here.

  • Rugby World Cup – Ends 31st October

The Rugby World Cup Final in taking place in London at Twickenham Stadium on 31st October. If you are looking for tickets click here to see current availability. 

If you want to experience some of the great atmosphere that accompanies this event there will be plenty of pubs and bars showing the final game. Have a look around your local area for venues that are getting involved.  

  • Restaurant Festival – Ends 31st Octobers

  • Halloween – 31st October

On 31st October London transforms into the spookiest place in the UK with horrifying parties, restaurants and attractions. From ghost tours to pumpkin carving there is something for everyone. To view a list of events taking place please click here.

  • Regent Street Motor Show – 31st October

The largest FREE motor show in the UK will be taking over London’s Regent Street form 10:30am to 4pm. Hundreds of vehicles will be on display dating from 1905 up to the present day.
