School Business Manager

Location: Haringey, North London (Primary School)
Job Type: Full Time, Long-term
Salary: NJC Grade 10, Point 31-38 (£40,000 - £52,000 per annum)
Start Date: Janurary 2026

SANZA Teaching Agency are excited to be working with a forward-thinking, inclusive primary school in Haringey to recruit a skilled and experienced School Business Manager. This is a key leadership role within the Senior Leadership Team, responsible for ensuring the smooth and effective management of all non-teaching operations across the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on the strategic management of finance, HR, and operations

• Oversee premises, facilities, and health & safety compliance

• Manage and develop a team of 5-8 support staff

• Contribute to whole-school leadership and improvement as part of SLT

Person Specification:

• Proven experience in leadership, finance, and HR management

• Strong problem-solving, time management, and organisational skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire staff teams

• Relevant qualification or willingness to work towards one, e.g. Level 4-6 in Business/School Administration, ADSBM, or Finance/HR qualification
