Position Overview

• Start date: 1st September 2025

• Location: Primary schools across Islington

• Contract type: Daily / short-term supply cover

• Pay rate: £150 - £160 per day (PAYE)

• Working days: Flexible - you decide your availability

Responsibilities as a Supply Primary Teacher

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2

• Follow school policies and planning where required, or deliver pre-prepared lessons

• Manage behaviour and create a positive, inclusive learning environment

• Provide continuity and support for pupils in the absence of their regular teacher

• Adapt confidently to different school settings and year groups

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Recent teaching experience in UK primary schools

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Confident, adaptable, and reliable across different school settings

• Professional, punctual, and committed to delivering high-quality teaching
