Calling all fun, approachable and kind-natured teaching assistants looking for a new opportunity to make a difference!

Exceptional opportunity: SANZA Teaching Agency are currently working with a delightful, primary school in Newham who are seeking a teaching assistant in year 5.  

The role:

• Work 1:1 with a boy in year 5 who has Autism

• Provide individualised support in class, helping him access learning materials and fully engage in activities

• Support the student during break times

• Encourage and facilitate participation in classroom activities, promote social interaction, and support learning and development

• Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson materials and ensure they are accessible for the student

• Behaviour management- be able to employ strategies to address challenging behaviours, fostering emotional regulation and positive responses.

• Will have experience in a similar role

• Will have a genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs

• Be patient and understanding

• Be flexible

• Have great communication, interpersonal skills and ability to build great relationships
