SANZA Teaching are supporting a large, modern primary school in St John's Wood for a SEND Lead Teaching Assistant.

About the Role:
As SEND Lead TA, you will be the key support for the school's SEND provision. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing personalised learning plans, delivering interventions, and liaising with external professionals including Educational Psychologists and Speech & Language Therapists. You will lead a team of three TAs and work closely with the school SENCo and parents to ensure EHCP targets are met.

Key Duties:

Deliver targeted literacy/numeracy support to pupils with ASD, ADHD and speech & language needs
Train and mentor other TAs
Support classroom teachers with differentiated planning
Monitor and track pupil progress
Organise and attend multi-agency meetings

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in SEND support
Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent (preferred)
Excellent understanding of EHCPs and SEND Code of Practice
Strong organisational and leadership skills
