Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in West London? SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting on behalf of a primary school in Harrow with specialist SEND provision. This role offers the chance to work closely with pupils with Autism, Speech & Language needs, and other additional learning needs, helping them access learning and thrive in school.
The Role
As a Specialist Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for primary-aged pupils with SEND
Assist pupils to access learning, follow routines, and build confidence
Collaborate closely with teachers, SEN coordinators, and support staff to deliver targeted interventions
Build trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and progress
Contribute to a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
About You
We are seeking a candidate who:
Has experience supporting primary-aged pupils with SEND
Is calm, patient, and consistent in approach
Possesses strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
Has a background in education, SEND support, or related experience (desirable)
Role Details
Hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm, term-time only
Salary: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)
Start: Immediate start for the rest if the academic year initially
