KS2 Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support

Primary School | Immediate Start | Autumn Term
£100 per day
SANZA Teaching Agency is seeking a confident and resilient Teaching Assistant to support two KS2 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a welcoming primary school.

The Role

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs
  • Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement in learning
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
  • Support pupils during lessons, breaktimes and playground activities
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider support team

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has experience working with KS2 pupils
  • Has SEMH experience or a strong interest in supporting children with additional needs
  • Is calm, consistent and resilient
  • Can manage behaviour positively and effectively
  • Works well as part of a team

Pay and Progression

£100 per day, with opportunities for progression based on relevant SEMH experience, SEND training and demonstrated impact within the role.
