- Encouraging learning through play, exploration and hands-on experiences.
- Supporting children's early communication, language, literacy and numeracy development.
- Creating exciting learning opportunities through storytelling, arts and crafts, sensory activities and imaginative play.
- Working with individual children and small groups to support their learning and development.
- Helping children develop independence, confidence, positive relationships and essential social skills.
- Supporting children with additional learning needs where required, ensuring an inclusive classroom environment.
- Assisting with classroom preparation, displays and maintaining an engaging learning environment.
- Promoting positive behaviour and supporting the school's high expectations.
- Working closely with teaching staff to ensure every child feels safe, supported and encouraged to achieve their potential.
Working hours are 8:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with an immediate start available.

The school has high expectations of both staff and pupils and is looking for a Teaching Assistant who will embrace its values, demonstrate a positive attitude and contribute to a hardworking and supportive school community.
The successful candidate will be joining a school that values creativity, enthusiasm, teamwork and a child-centred approach to learning.

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need:
- Previous experience working with children - essential, ideally within an Early Years, nursery or primary school setting.
- A good understanding of how young children learn and develop.
- A fun, energetic and creative personality, with the confidence to lead and support engaging activities.
