SEND PE Teacher / Sports Coach

Location: Brent, North West London
Start Date: November 2026 - After October Half-Term
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience and qualifications

SANZA Teaching Agency are delighted to recruit an enthusiastic PE Teacher or Sports Coach for a specialist primary SEND school supporting pupils aged 4-11 with Autism and associated communication and learning needs.

Qualified teacher status is not essential-experienced Sports Coaches, PE Instructors and aspiring teachers with coaching experience are welcome to apply.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver fun, inclusive PE sessions across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

  • Adapt activities to pupils' physical, sensory and learning needs.

  • Develop confidence, coordination and teamwork.

  • Work closely with teachers and Teaching Assistants.

The School

  • Small classes of approximately 8-10 pupils.

  • Typically 2-3 Teaching Assistants per class.

  • A creative curriculum and supportive, welcoming team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience delivering PE or sports activities to children.

  • Relevant qualifications or strong practical coaching experience.

  • A patient, energetic and adaptable approach.

  • SEND experience is desirable but not essential.
