Job Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Salary: £125 per day
Contract: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only (39 weeks per year)
Hours: 8.30am - 4.45pm
Location: Split between Denmark Hill, Beckenham and Camberwell - location TBC
Start Date: Oct 2026
Sanza are working in partnership with a Hospital School in Southwark & Beckenham which is a hospital school for children and young people aged 11 - 16 years who are inpatients and day patients.
Details of the role:
- Has experience of providing support to individuals and groups of young people
- Has achieved or is capable of rapidly gaining HLTA status
- Supporting pupil learning within the classroom or at the bedside under the direction of the teacher
- Potentially working in small groups or on a 1:1 basis supporting those children with individual education health care plans
- Maintaining classroom resource areas, plants, books etc
Key Requirements:
- Prior experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
- You can work well in a team as well as show initiative
- An upbeat personality with a positive attitude
