Key responsibilities include:

- Safeguarding and Compliance: Maintain accurate HR records and ensure the Single Central Record (SCR), contracts and policies meet relevant safeguarding and employment requirements.
- Staff Development: Coordinate annual appraisal cycles and support managers in maintaining effective people management practices.
- HR Advice: Handle sensitive employee matters with professionalism, discretion and empathy, providing clear and practical guidance.

- A sound understanding of employee relations, recruitment, employment legislation and HR compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations confidently and diplomatically.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied workload independently.
- A professional, approachable and solutions-focused attitude.

- Negotiable hybrid or off-site working arrangements.
- Access to experienced external HR advisers for additional guidance and support.
- A welcoming, supportive and values-driven school environment.
