About the Role

Sanza Teaching Agency is looking for a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs in a welcoming school in Kensington & Chelsea.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about inclusive education and helping children overcome barriers to learning. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to provide tailored assistance, helping pupils develop their confidence, independence and academic skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with additional needs.
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
  • Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
  • Help implement individual learning plans and targeted interventions.
  • Encourage positive behaviour, communication and independence.
  • Create a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents and other professionals.

  • Have experience working with children or young people with SEND.
  • Be patient, empathetic and enthusiastic about supporting pupils.
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be confident adapting to individual learning and behavioural needs.
  • Demonstrate a positive, proactive and flexible approach.
  • Be committed to helping every child reach their full potential.

Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role is desirable.
