About the Primary School: Our client is a welcoming, inclusive, and diverse primary school located in Hackney, London. The school has recently been graded as "good" by Ofsted, a testament to the dedicated staff and supportive learning environment. The team pride themselves on fostering creativity, promoting a love for music, and nurturing the talents of our students.

Position Details: SANZA Teaching Agency are seeking a Music Teacher to join the staff team for the 2023/2024 academic year. This is a part-time role, working one day a week, specifically catering to Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2) students.

Your expertise and passion for music will play a vital role in enhancing our students' musical abilities and nurturing their appreciation for the art.

Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging and interactive music lessons that align with the National Curriculum and meet the needs of students across KS1 and KS2. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can explore their musical talents and develop their skills. Provide instruction on various musical instruments, including voice, and offer guidance on music theory and

composition. Organize and direct school performances, concerts, and musical productions, allowing students to showcase their talent and boost their confidence. Collaborate with fellow teachers to integrate music into cross-curricular projects, enhancing students' learning experiences.

Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching music. A passion for music and a strong knowledge of various musical genres, instruments, and techniques. Ability to engage and inspire students of different ages and abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues. Creativity and flexibility to adapt teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles. Experience in organizing musical events and performances is desirable.
