Year 3 Teacher

A private independent school based on the Greenwich / Lewisham border area is seeking to appoint a dedicated and innovative class teacher who is a hard-working team player to join their teaching team from after February half term.

The school are looking for a teacher to teach the year 3 curriculum. There is also an element to this role where Maths will be required to be taught to Year 5 & 6 students. They are ideally looking for someone who can offer involvement with either games, sports, music or languages

The role is a maternity contract starting after the February half term.

The school is a small, private and friendly school where children are happy and learn in a stimulating environment. The school has excellent academic record at 11+ entry to leading independent and grammar secondary schools. They have high expectations of achievement, attainment and behaviour. They have 16 students in each class.

* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
* You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
