An exciting opportunity at an Outstanding Primary School for a KS2 Primary Teacher based in the heart of Tower Hamlets has arisen. This position will begin immediately with a full handover taking place by October half term. This is a high-achieving yet warm and welcoming Primary school that has a child-centred approach; you will need to be a very confident practitioner to flourish here - and it's great! The children are very well behaved. The ethos is centred around developing confidence, respect and a love of learning which is lived and breathed across the Key Stages and shines through by the time the children are Year 6. The successful Year 6 Teacher will be appointed on a temporary contract and being paid to scale.
This Primary school have been commended by OFSTED for their established senior leadership team and excellent behaviour within the school. This is a two-form entry school so the teacher appointed will be working alongside an established and welcoming Year 6 Teacher. Planning for lessons will be shared between teachers to combine ideas and reduce workload; the other bonus is that the current year 6 teacher has been promoted to cover the Maternity Leave and is still in school! The school has great transport links and a car park.
